Your child can discover Peru for free as an EF Global Citizen! EF awards annual scholarships to students who exemplify the qualities of a Global Citizen. Your child has a chance to earn our 2011 EF Global Citizen Scholarship and travel for free on an educational tour to Peru! Winners will be high school students who are devoted to promoting global awareness. Recipients will join peers from across the country on a June 2011 journey to explore social and life sciences in Peru. Please let your child know about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Students can apply by:
1. Creating a 1-3 minute digital media project that answers the following prompt:
- What is a Global Citizen? Describe a social or ecological issue facing our world today. How should a Global Citizen respond to this issue?
- How would experiencing an educational tour to Peru, a country rich in not only archeological and anthropological lessons but also ecological biodiversity, help you to be a responsible Global Citizen?

2. Uploading their digital media project to
EF's Facebook Page starting October 1, 2010.
3. Telling all of their friends to vote for their project on EF's Facebook page!
Deadline: Completed projects must be submitted on Facebook by
February 1, 2011, to be considered.
