Earn credit
EF is a fully accredited educational institution, which means teachers can earn professional development credit just by taking students on an EF tour and completing required coursework. Your students can also earn high school or college credit.
Students can earn one elective credit for completing assignments before, during and after their EF tour. Not only will students learn more from their travel experience, they'll also gain international experience, setting themselves apart from other college applicants.

You and your travelers can earn college credit through our partnership with Eastern Washington University or through independent study approved by your local university. Plus University of the Pacific grants graduate credit for our Professional Development Tours.
By leading an EF tour and completing associated coursework, you can earn 60 hours of professional development credit.

EF Professional Development Tours offer you the opportunity to learn about educational practices around the globe with your colleagues. We'll award you 90 professional development hours for completing our course along with your Professional Development Tour.
